New Delhi, 16 October 2026: Bimbo Bakeries India, producer of household bread and cake brands like Harvest Gold, Modern, Kitty and Bakers Loaf, is celebrating World Bread Day with “Qisse Hai Bread Ke”, a campaign that brings together the everyday moments and memories associated with bread. At the heart of the campaign is how bread finds a place in people’s lives across generations and makes occasions memorable. This upbeat anthem film will be available across YouTube and social media platforms. (Instagram, Facebook)
From breakfast toast and school tiffins to late-night hostel sandwiches and snacks shared with friends, bread is part of countless loving everyday moments. Across homes, college canteens and family gatherings, familiar bread favourites often become part of the memories people carry with them.
The campaign builds on a simple thought: bread is more than what goes between two slices; it is also part of the stories, people and moments that stay with us. Through “Qisse Hai Bread Ke”, Bimbo Bakeries India invites people to revisit these memories and share the stories that make bread special to them.
The “Qisse Hai Bread Ke” anthem brings this idea to life through a multi-split-screen film featuring people from different walks of life, including a young woman, a teenager, an office-goer, a homemaker and a man in his fifties. Each shares a nostalgic bread memory, from burnt toast made by Papa and bread pakora shared with a friend after being caught in class to hostel sandwiches, shahi tukda and malai toast. The film celebrates the familiar, joyful moments that become part of our personal stories, while reminding viewers that new bread memories are still waiting to be made.
Starting on World Bread Day, people can share their favourite bread memories in the comments on Bimbo Bakeries India’s social media pages using # QisseHaiBreadKe. Creators from food, lifestyle, and mom and family categories will respond to the anthem, share their own memories and encourage their audiences to take part. Ten selected
memories will be turned into AI-generated, personalised illustrations inspired by the people, food and details in each story. These digital mementos will be shared with the storytellers, and selected memories may also feature on the brand’s page. The three winners whose memories receive the highest engagement, based on likes and comments, will receive a reward worth ₹10,000 each. The winners will be announced on 18 October 2026 on the brand’s official social media page.
Commenting on the campaign, Raj Kanwar, Managing Director – Bimbo Bakeries India, said, “Bread has a place in so many beloved moments, from the tiffin packed for school to a late-night snack shared with friends. With the ‘Qisse Hai Bread Ke’ anthem, we are celebrating the stories people associate with bread and inviting them to share their own stories this World Bread Day. Every memory has its own flavour, and we look forward to seeing the stories people share.”
This World Bread Day, Bimbo Bakeries India invites people to share their bread memories on its social media pages and join the conversation.
