New Delhi, February 09, 2026: Birla Estates, the real estate arm of the Aditya Birla Group, has announced its association with India Art Fair 2026, India’s premier platform for modern and contemporary art, as part of a larger brand initiative titled ‘Canvas of Life’. The fair will be held from February 5–8, 2026 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds Okhla in New Delhi, bringing together leading galleries, artists, collectors, curators, architects, designers and cultural leaders from India and across the world.
Through this association, Birla Estates reinforces its belief that luxury today is defined not by excess, but by meaning, experience and emotional depth. Much like art, homes are an enduring expression of craft, intention and the way people choose to live — a philosophy that lies at the heart of the ‘Canvas of Life’ platform. It draws a parallel between art as a medium of self-expression and homes as a canvas for living. It reflects the idea that a home is not merely constructed, but composed — layered with stories, memories and personal meaning. Just as artists shape narratives through their work, individuals shape their lives through the spaces they inhabit. Architecture, like art, is deeply personal, experiential and timeless.
Commenting on the association, Mr. K. T. Jithendran, Managing Director & CEO, Birla Estates, said, “At Birla Estates, we believe that homes, much like art, are a reflection of purpose, emotion and the way people choose to live. Our association with India Art Fair 2026 through ‘Canvas of Life’ is a natural extension of this belief. Today, luxury is no longer about excess, but about meaning, experience and thoughtful design. Through this platform, we aim to celebrate the deep connection between art, architecture and contemporary living, and create spaces that are not just built, but thoughtfully composed.”
At the centre of Birla Estates’ presence at India Art Fair 2026 is a dedicated Birla Estates LifeDesigned Lounge, envisioned as an immersive cultural space rather than a conventional brand showcase. The lounge features curated artworks by internationally acclaimed artists Loris Cecchini, known for his fluid, organic sculptural language exploring space and perception, and Yayoi Kusama, one of the world’s most influential contemporary artists, celebrated for her immersive visual vocabulary and exploration of infinity, repetition and the self. Together, the works reinforce Birla Estates’ philosophy of form, emotion and spatial dialogue.
The lounge will also host a series of curated conversations and cultural programming that explore the intersection of art, craft, architecture and contemporary living. Featured collaborators include Karishma Swali, Creative Director of the Chanakya School of Craft; the Pichwai Sisters, known for reinterpreting the traditional Pichwai art form through a modern lens; and UHA Red Pavilion, a multidisciplinary design and architecture practice recognised for its experiential and narrative-driven approach. These sessions aim to deepen dialogue around how heritage, design and modern lifestyles intersect in meaningful ways.
In addition, Birla Estates will host exclusive VIP guided tours for select patrons, collectors and stakeholders. Led by experts, these curated walkthroughs are designed to offer deeper insight into key artworks and galleries, fostering thoughtful engagement and strengthening Birla Estates’ role as a cultural curator rather than a conventional sponsor.
