National, 23rd October 2026: This festive season, Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve Scotch Whisky partners with Celebrated couturier Manish Malhotra to create a limited-edition expression that brings together the worlds of Scotch and couture. The collaboration pairs the rich character and craftsmanship of Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve with Manish Malhotra’s signature design sensibility, creating a festive expression that brings together two distinct creative worlds.
The visual language draws from the richness and exuberance of Indian festivities, interpreted through Manish Malhotra’s distinctive design lens. Gold forms a natural connection between Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve and Manish Malhotra’s design vocabulary, brought to life through a gold-on-gold palette. Florals, sweeping botanical forms and intricate ornamental motifs create layers of movement and detail across the design, with familiar Indian decorative codes reimagined in a glamorous, inherently celebratory way.
The design extends across the outer monocarton and the accompanying glass, with the floral composition flowing seamlessly between the two elements. Together, they complement Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve, a rich and smooth Scotch whisky made to be savoured. The limited edition makes for a thoughtful festive gift, created to be admired, shared and celebrated.
Commenting on the collaboration, Manish Malhotra said, “Celebrations have always held a special place in my design journey. So much of my work has been about creating for moments that bring people together, from bridal and festive couture to the occasions that become a part of our most cherished memories. Collaborating with Black Dog felt like a natural extension of that journey. What drew me to the brand was its strong heritage, appreciation for craftsmanship, and its understanding of how the right details can elevate a moment. Bringing our two worlds together has been an opportunity to create something that feels distinctive yet authentic to both, with a shared appreciation for celebrating the moments that matter.”
Varun Koorichh, Vice President Marketing, International Whiskies, Diageo India, added, “The festive season is a time when we slow down, come together and savour the moments that make celebrations memorable, which is what Black Dog stands for. Bringing Manish Malhotra on board felt like a natural fit, given how closely his work has become associated with some of India’s most memorable celebrations. His design sensibility has enabled us to take Black Dog Triple Gold Reserve beyond the whisky itself, creating a limited-edition expression that adds a new dimension to gifting, entertaining, and celebrating during the festive season.”
Created for the festive season, the limited edition is an invitation to celebrate with a little more glamour- to pour, share, savour and keep.
