Goibibo’s latest ad #BreakBhiEssentialHai tells its viewers that a break is essential, even while you work from home. Amid all the household chores and our office work, we all deserve a timeout, says Goibibo in its new ad film.

Before the coming of COVID-19 pandemic and the following lockdown series, every one of us would have yearned for days when we could just be at home and work from home. No limitations, no expeditious office life, everything is so calm and cool, it is like a dream come true to many. But the reality turned out to be much different.

In the last few months with the implementation of lockdown, most of us have worked from home, infact, worked more from home. And adding to the office work, had to manage the household chores. From sweeping the floors, washing clothes, and doing the dishes to chopping vegetables and buying groceries, we just simply could not stop working or to stay away from our duties and responsibilities.

This is where Goibibo, one of the leading travel portals in India came into the frame with its lasted ad where it highlights that #BreakBhiEssentialHai. The ad film lasts for 78 seconds and it shows multiple clips of how we all are stuck in a loop of household chores along with the unlimited office checklists, duties and has been lead to a situation where we are not able to understand or figure out, what’s more, essential and what’s not. But, it is a fact that breaks are much needed and essential for many of us.

The ad film captures the monotony of an individual, a guy as he’s working from home during the pandemic lockdown. The ad film conceptualized by WATConsult brings into light the dullness that the protagonist of the film is facing and how the individual wants to break out from it. It shows that a break should be added to the list of ‘essentials’ we prepare during this time, in order to help a person break the monotony in life brought by the Covid-19 situation.
