New Delhi, 14 July 2025 — Seeking inspiration from the Japanese and Korean art styles, and its immense popularity among the Indian audiences, Nash8’s latest campaign ‘Manga-verse’ for Too Yumm! K-Bomb truly imbibes the Manga rage. The narrative creatively portrays an artistic appeal for a new age storytelling with integration from the Bollywood diva “Ananya Panday”.
The K-Bomb campaign featured 3 Manga style videos, in addition to a Reels-first short-form podcast, stylized like a manga world, featuring Panday in a snappy, snack-obsessed avatar. With its vibrant manga visuals and non-intrusive tone, the campaign extended seamlessly into OOH, QR activations, and social storytelling with Nash8’s signature visual sharpness.
“Gen Z needs to correlate and build their consideration set accordingly,” says Nasheet Shadani, Founder and Creative Head, Nash8. “For Too Yumm!, we created a universe that didn’t just refer to manga — it lived and breathed it. We read over 50 manga books before we even started designing. That’s the kind of depth we want in our creative outlay. Combining the universal appeal of K-culture with the charm of Ananya Panday the campaign is crafted to convert and win hearts”
“The characters and the visuals must appeal to the audience and must align with the brand ethos,” says Aiman Zubair, Business Head at Nash8. She further added, “We live in a complex world of content and information overload, making it essential to craft stories that are both fun and relatable. Gen Z is hooked on Manga, so we told the brand’s story in a style they connect with”
Manga is surely seeing a strong future in India given the likelihood of the content being consumed largely among the Genz audience but defining product characters and creating the appeal with the manga culture at its core still needs exploration. The campaign K-Bomb though a trend setting example of how it appeals to the desired audience still is among only a few ones to take initiatives in such a direction.
The podcast showcases small details of the manga and anime, adding appeal to the narrative. The background and the visual integration are a perfect example of how it may correlate with noodles as vibrant as the creative itself. Nash8 is the only agency to have successfully implemented manga for a brand with artistic contributions which may inspire the community to create more content in the same direction.
