New Delhi, 19th March 2026: Cinépolis India opens its newest multiplex at City Centre II Dwarka on March 19, coinciding with the Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa festive weekend. To mark the opening, the company is offering introductory tickets for Dhurandhar 2 starting at Rs 300, the sole major release in what is a four-day festive window, across all five screens.
The five-screen, 761-seat property is built on Cinépolis’s Future Ready Cinema model. Every auditorium is equipped with Laser Projection and Dolby Sound, with premium recliner seating across all screens.
Future Ready Cinema is Cinépolis India’s next-generation exhibition model built around four pillars: advanced projection and audio technology, superior auditorium design, curated food and beverage experiences, and pricing that keeps cinema accessible.
Speaking about the announcement, Devang Sampat, Managing Director, Cinépolis India said: “Dwarka is exactly the kind of market that validates our expansion thesis. A high-density catchment with diverse audiences, where people deserve a cinema built to the highest standard. For us, expansion is not just about adding screens. It is about ensuring that every new cinema we build delivers on four things: the best available technology, a food and beverage experience worth showing up early for, a loyalty ecosystem that rewards regular moviegoers, and pricing that keeps cinema accessible. City Centre II Dwarka delivers on all four, and opening on the extended weekend with Dhurandhar 2 on our screens is exactly the kind of start this property deserves.”
The opening takes Cinépolis India’s national footprint to 489 screens across 41 cities, and is the company’s 8th Future Ready Cinema launched in the past 12 months. Two more properties are planned before the end of 2026.
Harsh Vardhan Bansal, Co founder Unity Group & Vegas Mall said: “We are delighted to welcome Cinépolis to City Centre II Dwarka. A multiplex of this calibre, with Laser Projection, Dolby Sound, and premium recliner seating, is a meaningful addition to what City Centre offers. Cinema drives footfall, and we expect this opening to bring more families through our doors across the festive weekend and well beyond.”
Cinépolis City Centre II Dwarka is now open to the public.
