Mumbai, November 3, 2025: Collective Artists Network’s Historyverse, a content destination reimagining Indian history through technology, today announced a wide-ranging content partnership with Snapchat. This collaboration aims to bring Historyverse’s flagship AI-enabled adaptation of the epic Mahabharat to Snapchat’s vast Gen Z community in India, offering them access to the timeless tale through innovative digital formats.
The partnership leverages Snapchat’s unique position as a home for Gen Z in India, providing Historyverse with a powerful platform to reach new, younger audiences. With Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, we’ve reimagined a story that has defined generations using AI. Partnering with Snapchat allows us to take this deeply rooted heritage and introduce it to Gen Z in their own language and on their preferred platform, offering Historyverse a vital new audience.”
Saket Jha Saurabh, Head of Content Partnerships & AR, Snap Inc. said, “We’re chuffed to partner with Collective Artists Network’s Historyverse to bring the world of Mahabharat to our community. Snapchat is where Gen Z comes to express themselves and connect with friends, and this partnership provides a unique, culturally relevant way for them to engage with one of India’s greatest epics. From short-form episodic content to immersive AR Lenses, we are excited to offer millions of Snapchatters a new way to experience this iconic story.”
The AI-enabled adaptation, Mahabharat: Ek Dharmayudh, created under Historyverse, is currently streaming on JioHotstar from October 25 and airing on Star Plus. Produced using Galleri 5’s homegrown G5 AI Pipeline, this innovative series marks a first-of-its-kind re-imagining of the timeless epic through advanced AI-driven storytelling and visual design.
Historyverse continues to build momentum on Snapchat: its vertical Sanatani Itihaas has now crossed 100,000 followers, reached over 6 million unique viewers in the past month, and generated over 14 million views on Spotlight, demonstrating the platform’s power to connect historical content with young audiences.
This partnership between Historyverse and Snapchat exemplifies how technology and creative content can converge to make India’s rich cultural heritage accessible and exciting for the next generation.
