Cosmo PPF ropes in Jimmy Shergill for new brand campaign promoting advanced vehicle protection

National, 7th July 2026: Cosmo Consumer – the consumer facing vertical of Cosmo First has unveiled its latest  brand commercial film for Cosmo PPF (the automotive paint protection film category) featuring acclaimed  actor Jimmy Shergill. The campaign marks a significant milestone in the brand’s drive to consolidate consumer  awareness and reinforce its positioning in India’s burgeoning automotive protection segment.  

This marks the brand’s first celebrity-led communication campaign, designed to educate consumers on the  importance of protecting their vehicle’s exterior while showcasing the advanced technology and superior  performance of Cosmo PPF. Through this campaign, the brand aims to enhance credibility and strengthen  consumer connect by reinforcing the value of preserving a vehicle’s finish, while celebrating the confidence,  pride, and emotional bond associated with vehicle ownership. 

The film opens with a humorous exchange between a husband and wife, where the wife assumes her husband  is admiring her diamond solitaire, only to realise that he is in fact talking about his car protected with Cosmo  PPF. The light-hearted narrative cleverly highlights the film’s key product benefits including self-healing  technology, scratch resistance, hydrophobic properties and non-yellowing protection. The campaign concludes  with the message that while life’s scratches are inevitable, your car’s don’t have to be.

The  outdoor campaign will include prominent hoardings across these metro cities & Tier I cities.
