Designers Shantnu Nikhil Launch ‘Shantnu Nikhil Luxe’ — A New Frontier in Red Carpet Couture for Women

Celebrating over two decades of couture excellence, the designers launch Shantnu Nikhil Luxe with the acclaimed Wamiqa Gabbi as muse, and open the first exclusive flagship store at The Dhan Mill, Delhi.

New Delhi, 19th June 2025: After revolutionising Indian menswear couture for over 25 years, Shantnu Nikhil now turn the spotlight to an underserved category in Indian fashion- Red Carpet Couture for Women. With the launch of Shantnu Nikhil Luxe, the designers present their most provocative chapter yet: a striking evolution in womenswear that blends high-octane glamour with rebellion and structure with seduction.

Making a dazzling appearance as the face of the campaign is actor Wamiqa Gabbi, whose gentle yet strong femininity and magnetic charm mirror the energy of Luxe. This new foray into sculpted glamour, is further celebrated with the opening of the first-ever Shantnu Nikhil Luxe store at The Dhanmill Compound, Delhi, a destination that embodies the spirit of new-age high fashion for women

Born from the designers’ distinct yet harmonised sensibilities, Shantnu Nikhil Luxe is couture’s rebellious twin; designed for the woman who leads with presence and leaves nothing unsaid. While the brand’s legacy couture is known for its contemporary opulence and structure, Luxe flirts with fluidity, seduction, and glamour. From sculpted gowns to statement mini couture dresses, defined by corseted forms and fluid drapes, Luxe offers a curated escape into eveningwear made for the woman who dares to own the night. It is couture unconfined, infused with glamour, grit, and grace; staying true to the house’s signature blend of structure and storytelling, but with a renewed feminine lens.

The campaign was shot at Jolie’s in Worli, Mumbai, a space that resonated deeply with the Luxe ethos. With its layered maximalism and sense of intimate grandeur, Jolie’s became the ideal backdrop to capture the cinematic drama and bold spirit that defines Shantnu & Nikhil Luxe

“For over two decades, we’ve built a stronghold in men’s couture, constantly challenging conventions with our structured silhouettes and India-proud narratives. During this time, we’ve also seen a growing demand from women who resonated with our language of strength and subtle rebellion. Luxe is a new language, built for women who want to feel powerful, sensual, and unconfined,” says Shantnu Mehra. It’s our ode to the women who have inspired us, supported us, and pushed us to expand our creative vocabulary.” says Shantnu Mehra

Shantnu Nikhil Luxe is our most evocative expression yet. It is bold, dramatic, and deeply feminine,” adds Nikhil Mehra. “It’s about owning your narrative on your terms. In Wamiqa, we found the perfect woman to represent that spirit, fiercestylish, and emotionally rooted in her identity, much like the women we design for. With Luxe, we’ve pushed the boundaries of structure and fluidity to create red carpet couture that’s not just seen, but remembered. It’s not an extension—it’s a mood, a moment, a movement

Speaking on her association, Wamiqa Gabbi says, “Wearing Luxe feels like stepping into your most confident self. It’s sensual, sculpted, and completely liberating. Every silhouette feels like a statement—and I’m proud to represent a brand that’s pushing the boundaries of Indian couture for women.”
