As CEO and Executive Director, Sameer will lead Digitide’s next phase of growth and value creation, with a focus on driving profitable growth, strengthening operational performance, expanding the company’s international business, accelerating large-deal acquisition, and scaling platform-led and AI-enabled offerings.
The appointment follows a successful phase of leadership under Gurmeet Chahal, who played a pivotal role in shaping Digitide’s transformation into an independent, AI-first organization. During his tenure, the company successfully completed its demerger from Quess Corp, strengthened its strategic focus, expanded its capabilities, enhanced leadership depth, and established a strong foundation for sustainable growth. Sameer brings more than two decades of global leadership experience in building, scaling, and transforming businesses across North America, Europe, the UK, and India. He has a strong track record of driving strategic growth, operational transformation, profitability improvement, and value creation across technology services, business process management, and financial services.
Most recently, Sameer was associated with Alvarez & Marsal, where he focused on value creation and transformation initiatives for private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and mid-market enterprises. Prior to this, as Group President at Firstsource, he led the transformation of a globally distributed BPM and B2B services organization, strengthening profitability, integrating acquired businesses, and repositioning the company toward technology-led and domain-focused services. Earlier, he was part of the founding leadership team that helped scale HCL Technologies’ global BFSI-BPO and platform business, leading large-scale transformation and digital programs for global financial institutions.
