Dr. Sonara joins Medcare with over 13 years of extensive experience in the field of endometriosis and gynaecological laparoscopy. Prior to joining Medcare, he served as the Head of the Department of Gynaecology and Endometriosis Care at Parikh Hospital, Ahmedabad. He is also widely recognized as the pioneer behind Gujarat’s first multidisciplinary Endometriosis Care Clinic, a landmark initiative in specialized women’s health services.
Academically, Dr. Sonara holds an MBBS degree from Pramukh Swami Medical College, Karamsad, Gujarat, and an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad.
At Medcare Women and Children Hospital, Dr. Sonara will manage outpatient services for gynaecology and endometriosis cases. His clinical role will also include performing expert gynaecological ultrasound procedures and undertaking the full spectrum of advanced gynec laparoscopic surgeries, including complex endometriosis excision procedures, as well as fertility-enhancing laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.
Renowned for his expertise in complex endometriosis excision surgeries and other advanced minimally invasive gynec procedures, Dr. Sonara has an exceptional track record of delivering strong surgical and fertility outcomes. Among his recent professional milestones is his accreditation as a Master Surgeon in Multidisciplinary Endometriosis Care, making him India’s first SRC-accredited Master Surgeon in this highly specialized domain.

He has also contributed significantly to medical education as a faculty member and trainer at India’s first hands-on laparoscopy training institute, mentoring hundreds of national and international gynecologists.
