New Mumbai, 7th April 2026 – Drychem India Pvt. Ltd., through its CSR arm Walplast Welfare Foundation, continues to scale its commitment to education and community development, having strengthened infrastructure across over 100 schools between FY 2025-2026, with several more initiatives currently underway.
With education and skill development as core focus areas, the company has consistently driven interventions that deliver measurable, on-ground impact. The current phase of the initiative focuses on equipping government schools and community institutions with essential infrastructure to improve learning environments and enable smoother day-to-day functioning.
The program spans key regions across Madhya Pradesh (Pandurna, Katni), Maharashtra (Saoner, Palghar), Gujarat (Ankleshwar, Vapi, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur), Tamil Nadu (Perundurai), Rajasthan (Alwar), and Chhattisgarh (Raipur), strategically aligned with the company’s operational footprint to ensure deeper community connect and sustained engagement.
Under this initiative, Drychem has enabled access to critical infrastructure including computers, printers, water coolers, classroom furniture (benches, desks, chairs), writing boards, school bags, boundary walls, sanitation facilities, Bluetooth sound systems with microphones, air coolers, office furniture, lighting solutions, water storage units, and essential learning materials such as notebooks and stationery.
These interventions are significantly improving access to resources, enhancing classroom experiences, and creating safer, more conducive learning environments – particularly in underserved and rural communities.
The initiative benefits a wide ecosystem, including government schools, tribal schools, gram panchayats, and rural healthcare facilities, supporting holistic and inclusive community development.
Speaking on the initiative, Kaushal Mehta, Managing Directo,, Drychem India Pvt. Ltd., said:
“Education has always been central to our philosophy at Drychem, because we believe true nation-building begins in the classroom. Strengthening infrastructure across 100+ schools is not just a milestone for us—it reflects our long-term commitment to creating equitable learning environments. Through focused, on-ground interventions, we aim to improve not just access to resources, but the overall quality of learning experiences for students across communities. Our approach is to build scalable, sustainable impact that continues to empower future generations.”
The CSR programs are implemented in close collaboration with local authorities, school administrations, and community stakeholders to ensure relevance, effective execution, and long-term sustainability.
As part of its broader CSR journey, the Walplast Welfare Foundation’s two-year partnership with Project Nanhi Kali, prior to the current phase, played a significant role in advancing girls’ education and strengthening its commitment to inclusive and equitable learning.”
Through these sustained and scalable efforts, Drychem continues to reinforce its role as a responsible corporate citizen, driving inclusive growth and contributing to nation-building through education.
