National, 18th September 2026: What starts with a familiar Ganeshotsav chant can sometimes lead to an unexpected wish.
This Ganesh Chaturthi, LIC Housing Finance’s latest festive film, “Akshat’s Special Wish,” created by BC Web Wise, taps into the innocence of childhood, the warmth of family and the little wishes we make in front of Bappa.
At the heart of the film is Akshat, a seven-year-old whose innocent faith and simple way of looking at the world lead to a special wish. And while the wish may sound simple, there’s more to it than meets the eye.
The film finds its charm in the everyday moments that make Ganeshotsav feel personal: family banter, familiar rituals, a child’s unquestioning faith and that quiet moment when you tell Bappa what is truly close to your heart.
Rather than revealing what Akshat wishes for, the film lets the audience discover it along with his family. The surprise lies in understanding what his wish really means to him, and why it is much bigger than just a child asking for something for himself.
Built around the thought “har bade sapne ki shuruaat ek chhoti si wish se hoti hai,” the film brings LIC HFL’s brand philosophy, “Har Ghar Ka Humsafar,” into a story about family, dreams and the journey towards a home.
