Kochi: ESAF Small Finance Bank has invited applications for the ESAF Climate Smart Agriculture Awards 2026, a national initiative to recognise and celebrate farmers, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), agri-entrepreneurs and innovators who are championing climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural practices. The awards aim to encourage innovative farming solutions that enhance productivity, conserve natural resources and strengthen rural livelihoods in the face of climate change.
The awards carry a cash prize of ₹50,000 for the winner and ₹25,000 for the runner-up, along with trophies and certificates of excellence. Applications will be evaluated based on innovation, climate resilience, community impact, improvement in farm productivity and income, and the scalability of sustainable farming practices. Shortlisted participants will also gain opportunities for networking and collaboration within the agriculture ecosystem.
Applications are open until September 30, 2026. The shortlisted applicants will be announced in the first week of December, and the winners will be honoured on December 23, 2026, marking National Farmers Day.
