National, 22 July 2026: Following the Season 2 premiere featuring indie-pop artist Simran Choudhary, FlixBus India has unveiled the second episode of its flagship music property, Window Seat, featuring acclaimed Telugu indie singer-songwriter and playback artist Damini Bhatla. A recognised Grammy voting member and a pioneering voice in India’s independent music scene, Damini has built a distinct identity by blending raw storytelling with deeply personal themes through her music. Staying true to the spirit of the series, the episode transforms a musical performance into an intimate storytelling experience, where music, memories and meaningful human connections take centre stage.

The latest episode features Damini performing three deeply personal tracks that reflect different shades of love, healing and self-discovery. The set opens with the exclusive premiere of her unreleased song Seethakalam, a poignant breakup anthem that explores the bittersweet process of moving on. It is followed by Maava, a playful acoustic number filled with warmth and charm, before culminating with Premalekha, her most-streamed independent song, reimagined through a soulful collaboration with a Sarangi artist.
Adding to the emotional depth of the episode is an interaction with a fan who travelled all the way from Japan to Mumbai after discovering Damini’s music years ago. Audiences also get a rare glimpse into her creative process as she breaks down one of her favourite lyrics from Premalekha, sharing the emotion behind the words and offering an intimate perspective on her songwriting journey.
Through Window Seat, FlixBus India continues to redefine brand storytelling by moving beyond conventional marketing to create immersive, culture-led experiences. The platform celebrates independent artists, meaningful conversations and authentic human connections, reinforcing the belief that every journey is defined as much by the stories shared along the way as by the destination itself.
Commenting on the latest episode, Surya Khurana, Managing Director, FlixBus India, said, “At FlixBus, we’ve always believed that travel is about much more than reaching a destination – it’s about the people you meet along the way, the stories you uncover and the memories you create along the way. Window Seat is an extension of that belief. With Season 2, we’re continuing to move beyond conventional marketing by creating immersive, culture-first experiences that genuinely resonate with audiences. Damini’s episode beautifully captures this through heartfelt music, authentic conversations and unforgettable moments of connection.”
Speaking about being part of Window Seat, Damini Bhatla said,“I loved the idea of Window Seat. there’s something about a stage that moves that is just like me and my music – it’s always moving. I also loved that I could have some of my fans experience in this intimate way. It was truly such a lovely experience and I’m very excited for the whole world to see these performances now”
Following the Season 2 premiere featuring Simran Choudhary and now Damini Bhatla, Window Seat will continue to spotlight diverse musical voices from across India, with upcoming episodes featuring Haniya Nafisa, Priyanka Meher, Divyam & Khwaab, and Rahgir. Building on the foundation laid by Season 1, which featured artists such as Akshath Acharya and Gini, Season 2 expands the
platform’s vision of celebrating authentic stories, regional talent and meaningful cultural experiences through music.
