From a Brand Ambassador to a Brand Believer, Parineeti Chopra Goes Behind the Scenes to understand Science Behind Johnson’s Baby Products

Bengaluru, 3 July 2026: Lights, camera, actions… leading Bollywood Actress Parineeti Chopra went behind-the scenes, not for a film but to the world of Johnson’s Baby. Putting on her ‘mom mode’, armed with questions that  surrounds every mom, common myths and a quest to understand the science, Parineeti did a Behind-the-Science Tour  of Johnson’s Baby Research & Development Centre and Manufacturing Plant.  

Recently, Johnson’s Baby launched its new Milk & Rice Range announcing Parineeti Chopra as its new brand  ambassador. As she joined the Johnson’s Baby family, like any new parent, Parineeti too had many questions about  baby’s skin and what makes its different from adult skin and what makes Johnson’s Baby range a nourishing choice  for a baby’s skin. 

Discovering the Science of Nourishment: Johnson’s Baby Commitment of ‘Nourish for Natural softness from  Day 1” 

What followed was a day of discovery with a plant and R&D Centre walk-through, series of tests and demos …Parineeti  gained valuable insights into baby skin science and why caring for a baby’s skin goes beyond nutrition alone. Experts  highlighted the importance of “feeding” a baby’s delicate skin with nourishing skincare products that help protect and  support its natural barrier. Johnson’s Baby experts also explained what makes Milk & Rice a ‘Wholesome Duo’, with  milk proteins known to nourish the skin and rice proteins helping provide natural softness. Together, these ingredients  form the basis of the Johnson’s Baby Milk & Rice range, designed to gently nourish, moisturize and care for a baby’s  delicate skin, leaving it soft, healthy-looking and protected. 

During the visit, Parineeti saw up close the science behind Johnson’s Baby superior formulations 

  • Softness and Moisturization test: Using apricots to represent a baby’s skin, Johnson’s Baby scientists  showcased how the Milk & Rice formula keeps the skin plump, moisturized and soft compared to those who don’t  use it. 
  • Mildness test: In various real-life scenarios, Johnson’s Baby products were evaluated to ensure they remain safe  and mild for babies exposed to different environments and water types. 
  • Moisture retention test: Using silica beads, scientists demonstrated how Johnson’s Baby Milk & Rice lotion  instantly hydrates, leaving a baby’s skin feeling soft and comfortable. 

The visit also reinforced Johnson’s Baby’s commitment to 100% transparency and safety with its rigorous processes,  how it carefully handpicks purposeful ingredients for every product, dispelled common myths around pH and  importance of choosing products which are pH balanced.  

Commenting on the experience of visiting the Johnson’s Baby Plant, Parineeti Chopra said, “, I believe parents have  a responsibility to make informed choices. Being a mum, I wanted to understand the science behind the products and  experience the process firsthand, which is why I visited the Johnson’s Baby R&D Centre and Manufacturing Plant.  

Throughout the day, I interacted with experts, observed product testing and quality processes, and learned more about  baby skin science. What stood out to me was the understanding that caring for a baby goes beyond nutrition alone, it also involves nourishing and protecting a baby’s delicate skin. I learned about the importance of hydration, the role of  carefully selected ingredients such as milk and rice in nourishing baby skin, and the rigorous standards that go into  developing products designed for a baby’s unique skincare needs.
