Press Release – 18th May2026As dating becomes more emotionally aware, breakups are no longer just endings but part of a journey of letting go, healing, and starting over. Reflecting this shift in how modern singles approach relationships and heartbreak, happn, the real-life dating app, has partnered with Rage Room for an immersive on-ground activation across Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. The experience is built as a controlled yet cathartic experience, where participants can release pent-up emotions while rethinking how heartbreak can be processed in a healthier, more engaging way.
The first session, held on 17th May across Rage Room venues in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi, witnessed attendees moving through different stages of the experience, from releasing frustration to moments of reflection and closure. The activation was designed to mirror the emotional phases of a breakup, giving people a safe space to express emotions that are often left unspoken.
But beyond the immediate release, the idea is to help people move toward something more meaningful. The activation encourages individuals to view breakups not as failures, but as stepping stones to greater emotional clarity and stronger connections. By embracing the full spectrum of emotions, from frustration to healing, singles are able to show up more authentically in their dating journey.
Building on this response, the second session is scheduled for the 24th of May, continuing the experience by offering individuals a space to let go, reset, and move forward with greater clarity. Through this initiative, happn aims to go beyond simply bringing people together, positioning itself as a platform that understands the emotional realities of modern dating. By encouraging expression and reflection, happn continues to support users in building connections that feel real, intentional, and emotionally fulfilling.
