The sisters have already made an impact at at D’Decor, with Sanjana overseeing Retail and Domestic Distribution, and Sarah heading Product and Exports.

At D’Decor, the world’s largest manufacturer of soft furnishing fabrics, legacy is measured not just by scale, but by vision. That vision was first brought to life by Sanjay and Ina Arora, who transformed a textile business into a global furnishings powerhouse. Now, their daughters Sanjana and Sarah Arora are carrying that legacy forward not by following in their footsteps, but by innovation, sustainability, and relevance for a new generation of consumers.

The sisters have already made an impact at at D’Decor, with Sanjana overseeing Retail and Domestic Distribution, and Sarah heading Product and Exports. Under their leadership, the company has introduced robotic warehouses, expanded its export footprint across global markets, and championed sustainable product innovations such as flame-retardant and stain-resistant textiles. Their work reflects a commitment to modernizing operations while staying true to the quality that defines D’Decor.

Recognizing a distinct gap in the market for a soft furnishings brand rooted in design integrity, conscious living, and future-ready innovation, Sanjana and Sarah extended their vision beyond D’Decor and launched Sansaar in 2024. The brand represents their vision of a modern Indian homegrown brand that doesn’t just respond to trends but leads them with purpose. It’s their way of redefining what legacy means: not just preserving it, but transforming it for a new generation – thoughtfully, sustainably, and at scale.

Within the first year of launch, Sansaar has clocked 35% growth above projected estimates, expanded its retail footprint to 450+ stores, and increased manufacturing capacity by 1.5 lakh sq. ft. Their goal is to build Sansaar into a ₹500 Cr brand within the next three years with plans to expand internationally and launch dedicated experience centres.
