02 nd August 2026: Men’s fashion brand Banana Club is expanding beyond its core apparel offering with the launch of a new accessories category, beginning with a curated range of hats and caps designed to bring an added layer of personality to everyday dressing.
Known for its contemporary take on men’s fashion, Banana Club is now looking to build a broader lifestyle proposition for the modern Indian man. The introduction of hats marks the brand’s next step in this journey, giving customers the option to complete their outfits with accessories that reflect the brand’s relaxed, expressive and fashion forward aesthetic.
The move comes as Banana Club continues to broaden its product portfolio beyond its core categories of shirts, bottoms and tops. The brand has identified accessories as an important part of its next phase of growth, with categories such as bags, travel bags, sunglasses and perfumes also forming part of its wider expansion roadmap.
More Than an Outfit
For Banana Club, the entry into accessories is about moving from selling individual clothing pieces to becoming a destination for complete looks.
“Hats have always had a strong connection with personal style. They can completely change the character of an outfit without making it feel overdone. With Banana Club, we wanted to bring that same sense of individuality into our accessories. This is the beginning of a much larger lifestyle journey for the brand,” said Prashant Lalwani, Co-founder, Banana Club.
The new hat collection has been designed to work across everyday wardrobes from casual shirts and relaxed fits to travel looks and weekend dressing. The range brings together versatile silhouettes and contemporary designs intended to work as both functional and fashion-led additions to an outfit.
Building a Complete Men’s Lifestyle Brand
The launch represents a larger strategic shift for Banana Club as it expands from a primarily apparel-led proposition towards a more comprehensive men’s lifestyle brand.
The brand currently operates across multiple Indian cities and is pursuing an aggressive retail expansion strategy, with a target of reaching 100 stores and ₹500 crore in revenue by 2028. It currently operates 21 stores across eight cities and plans to expand further into emerging markets alongside its metropolitan presence.
With accessories being added to the portfolio, Banana Club sees an opportunity to increase the range of products available to its existing customers while also attracting consumers who may enter the brand through smaller, more accessible fashion categories.
The company’s broader category expansion is expected to continue, with additional lifestyle products planned as Banana Club builds towards its vision of becoming a one-stop destination for contemporary men’s fashion and lifestyle.
The Next Chapter for Banana Club
From its first organised retail store in Bengaluru in January 2023, Banana Club has expanded into cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, Delhi, Tirupati and Mysore. The brand currently derives revenue equally from its online and offline businesses, while its physical retail network continues to form an important part of its expansion strategy.
The launch of hats is therefore not just a new product drop, but a step towards a larger vision one where Banana Club goes beyond dressing men and becomes part of how they express their individual style.
With apparel continuing to remain at the heart of the business, the brand’s growing accessories portfolio is set to add new dimensions to the Banana Club wardrobe one hat, bag and style statement at a time.
