Delhi, 17 March 2026: Gallant Sports & Infra Ltd. successfully completed the installation of a state-of-the-art multipurpose sports turf facility for a school in Nagpur, reinforcing its commitment to developing modern sports infrastructure for educational institutions. The project was designed to create a versatile outdoor sports environment that supports multiple athletic activities on a single high-quality surface, encouraging active lifestyles and structured sports training among students.
The newly developed facility features a multipurpose artificial turf ground designed primarily for football and athletics training. The central football field includes integrated running track markings, enabling the ground to be used efficiently for both sports. In addition, the facility includes dedicated cricket practice zones with net areas and specialised practice pitches, allowing students to train in a structured cricket environment.
To further enhance the versatility of the space, basketball and skating areas have also been integrated into the facility. These zones are designed to support recreational and competitive play, ensuring that students have access to a wide range of sports within the same grounds.
Advanced sports surfacing materials were used to ensure durability, safety, and consistent performance. A 50mm sand and rubber infill artificial turf system has been installed for the football and running areas, providing excellent cushioning and playability. Cricket practice zones feature 10mm artificial turf, while PP interlocking tiles have been used for the basketball and skating surfaces.
The facility also includes perimeter fencing to ensure safety and controlled access, along with a dedicated sports lighting system that enables evening training sessions and extended play hours. Built using high-performance, all-weather sports surfaces designed to withstand extreme heat and heavy rainfall, the facility is suitable for year-round use.
