Mumbai, June 26, 2026: Godrej Capital, the financial services arm of the Godrej Industries Group, celebrated Pride Month by strengthening its commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion through BeYou, its affirmative internship program designed to create career pathways for LGBTQIA+ talent across its business units and their customer-facing and support functions.
Since its launch, BeYou has emerged as a key talent pipeline for the organisation, with 50% of interns transitioning into full-time roles. The program offers participants six months of hands-on experience, exposure to real business projects, and opportunities to build careers across diverse functions within the organisation.
The company, through its subsidiaries, also continues to invest in Pride Capital Rising, a mentorship initiative that connects LGBTQIA+ professionals with senior leaders and allies across industries. Beyond talent-focused interventions, Godrej Capital is also rolling out its Queer Inclusion Program across branch locations to build awareness, strengthen allyship and foster more inclusive workplace experiences.
Today, the company has more than 40 LGBTQIA+ employees across and has grown 10X, reflecting the company’s sustained efforts to create equitable access to opportunities and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Bhavya Misra, Chief Human Resources Officer said, “At Godrej Capital, we believe inclusion is most meaningful when it creates access and opportunity. Through initiatives such as BeYou we are building pathways that enable LGBTQIA+ talent to enter, grow and thrive within the organisation. While inclusion and representation is in our DNA, our focus extends beyond hiring to creating an environment where individuals feel a genuine sense of belonging and have equitable access to development and growth opportunities. For us, inclusion is not a standalone program; it is an ongoing commitment to building a culture where people can bring their authentic selves to work and realise their full potential.”
As part of Pride Month celebrations, Godrej Capital is also bringing employees together through a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening awareness, allyship and community engagement. The company hosted Pride Marches in its offices featuring cultural performances by transgender artists and unveiled a permanent mural in collaboration with the Aaravani Art Project, symbolising inclusion, visibility and belonging.
Together, these initiatives reflect Godrej Capital’s commitment to creating opportunities for LGBTQIA+ talent while fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
