Gozoop Creative and CookieMan India tap into Gen Z dating culture with a feel-good phase called Cookiestage

Mumbai, 12th February, 2026: Gozoop Creative, an integrated marketing and creative company, has conceptualised CookieMan India’s Valentine’s Day campaign, ‘Happy Cookiestage’, a cultural idea rooted in the evolving realities of Gen Z dating. The campaign reimagines how young audiences experience intimacy today: fluid, undefined, and intentionally free of labels.

Modern dating culture is increasingly layered with terminology such as talking stage, situationship, soft launch, hard launch, orbiting, and benching. While emotional closeness exists, defining a relationship often feels too final, inviting pressure and constant questioning.

The insight driving the campaign stems from how modern relationships are weighed down by complicated labels, often causing emotions to get lost in translation.

Against this backdrop, Gozoop Creative and CookieMan introduce “Happy Cookiestage”, a sweet, feel-good phase that lives between “just talking” and “official.” A moment of togetherness that doesn’t ask to be defined. Much like sharing a cookie, it’s warm, comforting, and understood without needing an explanation.

When asked, “So, what are you?”, the answer is simple:
“We’re in a Cookiestage.”

The campaign positions CookieMan as a companion to these everyday, undefined moments of closeness, aligning seamlessly with the brand’s association with warmth, sharing, and small indulgent joys.

Campaign rollout

The campaign was rolled out in phases, beginning with pre-buzz content on Instagram that playfully teased the confusion around modern relationship labels, sparking organic conversation among Gen Z audiences. This was followed by launch films that officially introduced Cookiestage as a relatable cultural idea rather than a conventional Valentine’s Day message.

The content strategy is designed to drive relatability, social sharing, and cultural relevance across platforms.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr Sanjay Mishra, Chairman, CookieMan India said, “Valentine’s Day conversations have evolved, and so have relationships. ‘Happy Cookiestage’ reflects how young people experience closeness today, without pressure or labels. It’s sweet, uncomplicated, and authentic, much like the moments our cookies are a part of.”

Speaking about the creative thinking behind the idea, Prardhana Chillarige, Creative Director, Gozoop Creative, said,“We noticed how Gen Z has created vocabulary to protect emotional space. Instead of adding another label, we wanted to remove the pressure altogether. ‘Happy Cookiestage’ is a cultural idea that feels light, shared, and intuitive, perfectly aligned with CookieMan’s warmth and personality.”

Through this collaboration, Gozoop Creative continues to build culturally resonant brand narratives, helping CookieMan India strengthen its connection with younger audiences while owning a distinct space in Valentine’s Day conversations, one that celebrates closeness without definition.
