The evening spotlighted India’s leading style authorities who continue to shape and redefine the fashion landscape This year Nora Fatehi, Chunky Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ahan Shetty, Mira Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, KR$NA among others were deemed as the country’s most stylish individuals this year

Mumbai, 5th  September, 2026: GQ India, the country’s ultimate voice on men’s fashion, style and culture, hosted a dazzling celebration of style and flair with GQ Best Dressed last night in Mumbai. This year’s most stylish personalities from film, music, business, sports and beyond came together as GQ India honoured their bold, distinctive individuality — set against the 90’s, a decade that still defines how the country dresses, dreams and does business.

Hosted by Che Kurrien, GQ India’s Head of Editorial Content, in association with The Collective and supported by Associate Partners Patron Experiences, Vedica, Qantas and Charu Jewels the night began as Nora Fatehi, Chunky Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ahan Shetty, Mira Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, KR$NA and more lit up the black carpet at 38 Manhattan, Penthouse St. Regis Mumbai, bringing their own take on the 90s Reimagined theme. From nostalgic nods to the decade’s defining style codes to contemporary interpretations of its spirit, the evening saw India’s leading fashion and cultural personalities come together to celebrate an era that, fittingly, began the same year India’s economy opened to the world, sparking the confidence and self-expression GQ Best Dressed continues to champion today.

Che Kurrien, Head of Editorial Content GQ India said, “This year’s Best Dressed program celebrates the spirit of the Nineties: an era steeped in individual brilliance, creativity and economic reform. It was a time of great hope, filled with energy, optimism and even innocence. From music to fashion and early internet culture, the Nineties continues to inspire people across generations today, and this year’s Best Dressed program is an ode to this incredible decade. ”

As the night unfolded, the celebration brought together the country’s most stylish names coming together for an evening that looked back while firmly keeping its eye on what comes next.
