Mumbai, September 2026: Great State & Friends by Great State Aleworks is bringing Public Beer Hall & Snack Bar to Boilermaker on September 30 from 8 PM onwards for a one-night pop-up that brings together Great State’s collaborative, community-led approach with Public’s distinctly regional take on bar food. The evening will see Public take over the Boilermaker kitchen with a menu inspired by regional flavours and bar food traditions from across India, with Great State beers accompanying the food through the night.
The menu moves through familiar flavours interpreted in a distinctly Public – Beerhall & Snackbar way from Bharuch Peanuts and Sweet Potato Chips with Rajkot Chutney to Chorizo Pâté with Melba Toast, Crispy Calamari with Injipuli and Feni Tamarind Prawns. There are also dishes such as Pyare Chicken Seekh, inspired by the iconic seekh from Dargah Road in Calcutta, Iskus Chhurpi Kothey Momo from Sikkim, Muttai Kallaki Parotta, and CKP Prawn Khichdi, rooted in the culinary traditions of the Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu community of Maharashtra. For those looking for something sweet, the evening rounds off with an Orange Juice Cake layered with dark chocolate custard and toasted almond.

We love what the team at Public does with regional flavours and bar food, and bringing them to Boilermaker felt like a natural fit for the series. We’re excited to have them take over the kitchen, pour some Great State beers alongside the menu, and share a little bit of what Public does with a whole new crowd,” says the team at Great State Aleworks.
