Online real estate platform Housing.com unveiled its latest TV and web advertisement campaign ‘Yahaan Quest Khatam Karo,’ featuring famous Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao. To be sponsored through TV and digital media, the initiative will continue for the next 15 months and will entail a cumulative cost of nearly Rs. 40 crores across a wide variety of channels.

The first two advertisements starring Bajpayee and Rao, as home-owners and home-buyers, will be targeted at TV viewers during the forthcoming India-England Test Series and the well-known talk show Kapil Sharma Show, as well as other leading entertainment programs such as Big Boss and Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma. Elara Technologies-owned portal would tap digital channels frequented by millennials to launch the remaining two advertisements targeting the rental and property-related services divisions.

Amplifying Housing.com’s role as a full-scale interactive real estate site, meeting both home purchasing, leasing, and leasing needs, and all associated criteria is likely to attract more than 10 key consumers through a wide variety of media. Built by the advertisement firm Lowe Lintas, the promotional films seek to portray the brand as single -stop solution for all housing needs – purchase, sale, rent and move in, and other property-related facilities. A satirical approach to everyday issues faced by consumers, sellers, landlords, and homeowners, the ad series also illustrates how tech-driven sites like Housing.com have changed the game for the housing industry in India.

Directed by Suresh Triveni of Tumhari Sulu fame, the four-part ad campaign is based around the typical difficulties that buyers and tenants have to face to find an ideal home and, conversely, sellers and homeowners have to face to find the correct buyer or tenant. The campaign also covers the different aspects that tenants need to take care of before moving their houses. While showing that housing problems do take a great deal of patience and diligent work, the initiative highlights the fact that Housing.com, ranking among India’s highest digital real estate portals, is a go-to portal to ensure that all hard work and troubles have a satisfying end.

What followed was a fun-filled chat between fans, few brands, and some celebrities. It was also extensively covered by several media houses, seeking to guess the explanation behind the two celebrities’ posts. Similarly, Rishabh Pant and Virender Sehwag had a nice chat about their home quest. This curiously enjoyable home buying and selling journey ended with the introduction of Housing.com’s latest “Yahan Search Khatam Karo” campaign.
