In a unique gesture that puts the user at the centre, BHIM Payment App invited citizens to inaugurate the new BHIM app through a special print innovation. The idea is that the app is for Bharat and it is only fitting that its launch begins with them.
The front page carried a red ribbon across a French Window format encouraging readers to “cut the ribbon” and open the flaps just like a chief guest at an inauguration. Inside, readers were greeted with a QR code to download the app, a short Hindi verse on the unchanging values of money and BHIM’s positioning as Bharat ka apna payments app.
The flap opens into a clean showcase of the app’s refreshed features such Family Mode, Spend Analytics, multi-language support and a simplified interface for all users. It reflects the values BHIM stands for i.e. trust, inclusivity and user-first design. Part of the ongoing #PaisonKiKadar campaign, this initiative reinforces BHIM’s role as India’s own payments app built for every age, every region and every transaction that matters.
