India’s Most-Streamed Music Recognised with JioSaavn’s India Superhits Awards

Mumbai, February 10, 2026 – JioSaavn today announced the winners of the second edition of the India Superhits Awards, celebrating the most streamed songs and artists that shaped India’s listening habits in the year that went by. Determined entirely by the streaming and engagement data on the platform between 1st January to 31st December 2025, the India Superhits Awards reflects Indian listeners’ choice across languages, regions and creative roles.

India Superhits Awards celebrates music across 10 languages – Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, Bengali and Marathi. Across each language, the awards recognise excellence in five key categories – Most Streamed Song, Most Streamed Female Artist, Most Streamed Male Artist, Most Streamed Lyricist and Most Streamed Composer, spotlighting both performers and the creative talent behind the mosaic. Together, these honours offer a comprehensive, data driven view of the songs and voices that resonated most deeply with listeners across regions throughout the year.

Music Director – Tanishq Bagchi and Lyricist – Irshad Kamil also emerged as winners in their respective categories. These results indicate the enduring influence of film led music in shaping large-scale listening behaviour.

Artists such as Pawan Singh, Shilpi Raj and Sanju Rathod, found sustained resonance with listeners, reflecting deep cultural connection. Southern languages also continued to demonstrate high retention and cross cultural appeal.

Composers such as Jakes Bejoy and vocalists like Sid Sriram ranked among the most streamed artists across multiple listener cohorts, reinforcing the growing national footprint of southern music. Bengali music also showed sustained year long consumption, with Anupam Roy leading engagement in the language category.
