IndusInd Bank recognised as ‘Best Bank Financing the Industry’ at the 52nd India Gems & Jewellery Awards (IGJA)

Hosted by the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), IndusInd Bank is the only bank to be recognised at this year’s awards

Mumbai, September 19, 2026: IndusInd Bank has been recognised with the ‘Best Bank Financing the Industry’ award at the 52nd India Gems & Jewellery Awards (IGJA), hosted by the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) at Bharat Diamond Bourse, Mumbai. This recognition marks IndusInd Bank’s 11th consecutive IGJA accolade since 2015. 

The award was received by Ganesh Sankaran, Executive Director, IndusInd Bank and Niraj Shah, Head – Corporate Banking, IndusInd Bank, in presence of dignitaries: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde, Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Shri Harsh Sanghavi, and GJEPC Chairman Shri Kirit Bhansali.

As the only bank to be recognised at this year’s awards, the honour reflects IndusInd Bank’s deep sector expertise and longstanding commitment to supporting businesses across the Gems and Jewellery value chain. IndusInd Bank received the award in the category of ‘Best Bank Financing the Industry’, recognising the highest growth in credit limits sanctioned, with a minimum base of ₹500 crore. The Bank continues to provide tailored financing solutions that enable the industry to grow, compete globally and adapt to evolving market dynamics.

Gems & Jewellery accounted for 2.80% of IndusInd Bank’s overall loan book as of Q1 FY27 and remains a flagship business segment for the Bank.
