New Delhi | 17th February 2026: Prof. Subir Verma, Director, FORE School of Management, was conferred the ‘Change Maestro & Institutional Builder of the Year’ award at the Industry Academia Conference (IAC) 2026. The recognition acknowledges his leadership in steering a phase of strategic expansion, academic modernization, and student-centric transformation at the institution.
The honour reflects the institutional milestones achieved during his tenure, including geographic expansion through the addition of off-campus presence, enhancement of student intake capacity, and the articulation of a long-term roadmap for academic and infrastructural development. The expansion has been undertaken with a continued emphasis on academic rigour while broadening access and opportunity for aspiring management professionals.
Under Prof. Verma’s leadership, the institution has strengthened its global engagement efforts by building collaborations with reputed international universities. These partnerships have enhanced international immersion pathways, exchange opportunities, and exposure to global employment ecosystems, preparing students for both domestic and international career landscapes.
A strong emphasis has also been placed on adopting a data-centric and technology-driven academic framework to ensure students are future-workforce ready. Curriculum reforms have integrated analytics, digital capability building, sustainability, and applied learning models that move beyond traditional classroom instruction. To support this modernization journey, the institution established a Bloomberg Lab to strengthen financial analytics learning and an AI Lab to provide hands-on exposure to emerging technologies. Experiential learning initiatives have been embedded across programmes to ensure practical industry alignment.
In addition, structured certification pathways have been introduced to strengthen employability outcomes. Finance students, for instance, are encouraged to complete professional certifications such as those offered by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), reinforcing role-readiness before graduation. The broader objective has been to ensure that graduates are equipped not only for immediate job roles but for long-term adaptability in evolving business environments.
Prof. Verma has also championed a value-centric leadership approach, integrating institutional ethics, student welfare measures, and holistic development initiatives into the governance framework. His tenure has been marked by active involvement in institutional reforms, strategic planning, and the creation of systems that balance global competitiveness with Indian knowledge perspectives.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Verma said, “Expansion must be purposeful and modernization must be meaningful. Our endeavour has been to build an institution that prepares students for global opportunities while remaining rooted in strong ethical foundations. Education today must equip learners not only for employment, but for responsible leadership in a rapidly changing world.”
The recognition highlights the leadership-driven transformation underway at FORE School of Management and its continued focus on innovation, industry alignment, and global integration.
