New Collection: ‘Tropical Gardenia’ – Prints By Radhika

It’s always a print party at designer Radhika’s atelier. Her label, Prints by Radhika is all about prints. But developing every collection comes with its own challenges and requires innovation, intervention and continuous thought which is the most challenging part of putting together a campaign. This season, the designer is back to introducing a beautiful line of tropical prints that seamlessly blends into the luxe wedding finery.
Think palm prints reimagined and rejigged with opulent embroidery in gold and silver. Delicate zari work lends a toast of glitter to printed overalls that come in a variety of shades. Delicate, soft peaches meet bright reds and neon yellows, the collection is packed with flavour, fervour and old-world charm, matching millennial prints with a vintage styling.
The theme of the collection is blending in with the tropics and is a colour riot all while staying absolutely classy and elegant. What’s better? Well, every piece in this collection calls out comfort as its love language. There’s nothing more precious than comfort, especially when you’re busy with back-to-back celebrations, and the designer ensures it to the T.

“We strongly feel that florals can never go out and they are always safe to use when it comes to Indian wear, Indian mindset and market still is not very open to experiment a lot when it comes to wearing a certain print on a wedding or any festival. Our brand is very contemporary so we thought using tropical floral will solve our vision to be more couture in this collection and also not a conventional Indian wear brand.”

It’s a collection where the lines of couture are blurred with Indian wedding bling. It’s bold, it makes a statement, yet has all the comfort one needs while attending weddings! One of the best times of the year is undoubtedly the wedding season. Whether you’re a guest, a bride-to-be or simply anyone who loves a great party, this collection is wholesome, beautiful and edgy without alienating it from the main collection idea which is about luxury weddings!
