JioSaavn Releases Replay 2025 – India’s Audio Blueprint

Mumbai, December 16, 2025 – JioSaavn, India’s leading audio streaming service with 100 mn+ MAUs, today announced the rollout of Replay 2025, the platform’s annual data-driven recap that consolidates individual listening patterns for the year. Derived from streaming activity recorded between January 2025 – mid November 2025, Replay provides users with personalised summaries. While individuals can find their recap on their JioSaavn homepage, the platform shared some popular observations and trends from the app.

Overall data from the platform revealed Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi, Tamil and English to be the top 5 languages streamed, reaffirming India’s sustained preference for domestically rooted and linguistically diverse audio content. Listening activity consistently peaked during 8-10 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. corresponding to morning and post work commute.

The platform’s top artist rankings for 2025 were led by Arijit Singh, Alka Yagnik, Pritam Chakraborty, Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal reflecting the continued prominence of India’s most recognisable playback voices. At the same time, regional listening patterns demonstrated strong engagement with influential artists across the country. Some leading names included – Devi Sri Prasad (Telugu), Anirudh Ravichander (Tamil), Karan Aujla (Punjabi), The Weeknd (English) and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam (Kannada). Together, these trends highlight a balanced ecosystem where legacy artists, regional powerhouses and global performers coexist in shaping India’s audio landscape.‘Saiyaara’, ‘Sahiba’, ‘Bujji Thalli’, ‘Barbaad’ and ‘Apna Bana Le’ were among the most streamed songs on the platform. Regional consumption patterns highlighted – ‘Vazhithunaiye’ (Tamil), ‘Ranu Bombai ki Ranu’ (Telugu), ‘Wavy’ (Punjabi), ‘Die With a Smile’ (English) and ‘Paravashanadenu’ (Kannada).

Podcasts on the platform saw strong engagement throughout the year, reflecting JoSaavn’s growing footprint as a multi-format audio destination. Among the most streamed podcasts were – ‘Shri Krishna Amritvani’, ‘Krishna- The Supreme Soul’, ‘Yakshini’, ‘Dhadkane Meri Sun’ and ‘Shiv Puran’ each addressing distinct listener interests – from devotional content to immersive audio fiction and reflective storytelling.

In addition to audio streaming, the platform also mapped JioTunes which reflected similar user sentiment and cultural touch points throughout 2025. While the Top 5 JioTunes overall were – ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Ram Siya Ram’, ‘Switch Off’, ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ and ‘Saiyaara’ regional preferences included – ‘Godari Gaattu Meedha’, ‘Naane Neethane’, ‘Mohabbat Ab Bachata’ and ‘Mayabini’ signaling increasing personalisation through language and mood based selections.
