Jiten R Mahendra has a great track record in sales, marketing, and business operations in a variety of sectors, including fashion, automobiles, paint, pharmaceuticals, and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG).

He has held key leadership positions at Mahindra Auto Limited and Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, among others, and is currently Senior Vice President Marketing at Max Fashion India.

Mr Mahendra holds the distinction of becoming Max Fashion India’s first marketing employee. He led the company’s expansion from a 100 crore brand with 16 stores in five cities to a 4000 crore brand with 350 stores in 103 cities over the next decade, working with a core staff.

Mr Mahendra earned his PGEMP from Mumbai’s SP JAIN Institute of Management Studies in 2003-2005.

In June 2018, I received my Columbia Business School accreditation in Digital Strategy for Businesses: Leading the Next Generation Enterprise.

Under Mr Mahendra’s leadership, the company was one of the first to grasp the notion of an Omni-channel strategy. His career has been marked by cutting-edge marketing, a capacity to identify trends, and the strategization of dynamic and path-breaking roadmaps with collaborating agencies.

Several prizes and accolades attest to his razor-sharp judgments and clutter-cutting business technique.

As vice president-head marketing, Jiten Mahendra has joined Byju’s, an e-learning platform. He is leaving Landmark Group as senior vice president of marketing. Mahendra made a change to his LinkedIn profile to reflect his new location.

His message said, “My 12-year run with the Landmark Group and Max Fashion has come to a close. I owe Vasanth Kumar a debt of gratitude for providing me with this incredible chance, teaching me along this journey, and bringing out the best in me.

Thank you for all of your help and advice, Shital Mehta and Raghu Rajagoapalan. Thanks to the Max marketing team for their unwavering support during our trip. In two words, I can sum up this entire journey: ‘passion,’ and ‘perseverance,’ which can achieve anything.

Finally, the conclusion of your trip is the start of a new one.”

Mahendra has worked for companies like as Mahindra & Mahindra, Unilever, and Zydus Cadila over his more than 21-year career.
