Mumbai, 26th June 2025: This Summer Solstice, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu invited guests to celebrate the longest day of the year with an extraordinary edition of JW Garden Party – Sunday Brunch, hosted at the newly launched modern-European cuisine restaurant, Mezzo Mezzo. Nestled along the Arabian Sea, this elegant venue offered panoramic views of the ocean and the golden hues of a summer sunset, setting the perfect backdrop for a day of connection, indulgence, and celebration.
On Sunday, 22nd June 2025 beginning at 12:30 PM until sundown, Mezzo Mezzo curated a unique indoor garden experience that brought the spirit of the outdoors inside – echoing the heart of JW Garden Party. In celebration of the extended daylight, this brunch was more than just a meal; it was a leisurely journey through time, nature, and flavor. The celebration welcomed a distinguished gathering of key opinion leaders, along with esteemed guests, to celebrate the longest day of the year.
This unique Sunday brunch was thoughtfully designed to reflect the warmth and abundance of the season, featuring – a lush garden-inspired indoor setting, complete with signature long tables and fresh JW Garden basil leaves infused butter candles – all woven into the day’s food and beverage experience. The experience began with a warm and heartfelt toast by Chef Gaurav Malhotra, Director of Culinary who welcomed the guests and reflected on the brand and the hotel’s legacy which is deeply rooted in connecting people and creating timeless memories. The bespoke menu was crafted by the Executive Chef of Mezzo Mezzo – Chef Roberto Apa, who presented a modern-European fare rich in seasonal ingredients and culinary storytelling.
The meticulously curated event menu was printed on seed paper and featured delicacies like Black Garlic and basil Hummus, Pista and Mint crumble Goat cheese, Chili-lime Grilled Pineapple salad with Cilantro foam, Lemongrass Oysters and Tiger prawns along with culinary cocktails and refreshing beverages infused with JW Garden’s botanicals. The dining experience was enhanced with a very special activity highlighting the positive vibrations of the Summer Solstice day. Guests were invited to write down wishes for something that brings them joy and hang them on the beautifully crafted Wish Tree. A soulful live music, featuring the in-house DJ jamming with a live percussionist added a lively rhythm to the afternoon, creating a vibrant, social energy throughout the day. To conclude the experience, guests were invited to take home a piece of the JW Garden through a thoughtfully curated gifting experience. Each received a garden party themed gift basket – much like a picnic basket filled with artisanal bread, JW Garden fresh signature butter candle, along with tokens of celebration rooted in nature. This heartfelt gesture brought a touch of tradition and nostalgia, perfectly encapsulating the brand’s spirit of connection and authenticity.
