Delhi, October 28, 2026: Kärcher India marked Thank Your Cleaner Day 2026 by recognising cleaning professionals across 16 branches and 17 client locations in India. The initiative acknowledged the people whose work often happens behind the scenes, ensuring that workplaces and shared spaces remain clean, safe and hygienic.
Observed in October, Thank Your Cleaner Day is an annual global initiative that encourages individuals and organisations to recognise the contribution of cleaning professionals. The initiative was first conducted in New Zealand in 2015. It aims to build greater awareness of the important role cleaning professionals play in maintaining workplaces and public buildings.
Guided by the message “We All Like to Feel Valued and Appreciated,” the initiative draws attention to the fact that many cleaning professionals work during evenings, weekends or outside regular office hours, often without crossing paths with the people who benefit from their efforts. It encourages people to express their appreciation through simple gestures, such as a handwritten note, a small gift or a personal thank-you.
As part of this year’s observance, Kärcher India extended the initiative across its branches and client locations, bringing the focus on appreciation directly to the workplaces where cleaning professionals carry out their daily responsibilities. The initiative served as a reminder that recognising their contribution does not require a grand gesture; even a few words of thanks can help make people feel seen and valued.

Through Thank Your Cleaner Day 2026, Kärcher India reiterated the importance of acknowledging the people who help maintain clean and hygienic environments every day. The initiative also encouraged organisations and individuals to make appreciation a regular practice, recognising the contribution of cleaning professionals not just on a designated day, but throughout the year.
