Mumbai, May 15, 2025: KidZania Mumbai marked Mother’s Day with the fifth edition of its flagship celebration, KidZania Mommy Zummit, held on Sunday, May 11, 2025 in collaboration with Mompreneur Circle. This year’s event revolved around the theme “Mommy’s Got Bandwidth – Navigating Motherhood in the Digital Era,” and brought together over 100 mothers including bloggers, community influencers, and professionals for an insightful and interactive session. The invite-only gathering served as a unique platform for mothers to reflect on the evolving landscape of parenting in a connected world.
The highlight of the event was a panel discussion featuring an impressive lineup of speakers: Prerna Sinha, TEDx Speaker and Wellness & Parenting Content Creator; Riddhi Doshi Patel, Child Psychologist and Parenting Counsellor; Meeta Suraiya, Sculptor & Artist; Vrushali Parab, Marketing Head at The Belgium Waffle Co.; and Anita Khemnani, Content Head at KidZania India. The conversation explored various dimensions of motherhood in the digital age—from setting healthy screen-time boundaries and fostering creativity to building digital communities and ensuring emotional well-being. The panellists drew from personal and professional experiences, offering actionable insights and perspectives that resonated deeply with the audience.
During the panel discussion, each speaker brought a unique perspective to the theme of digital-era parenting. Prerna Sinha emphasized the importance of thoughtfully deciding the right age for children to access the digital world, highlighting how early exposure must be balanced with maturity and responsibility. Riddhi Doshi Patel shed light on the subtle yet critical distinction between being a friendly parent and being a friend, reinforcing the value of maintaining healthy boundaries while nurturing open communication. Meeta Suraiya urged parents to encourage physical and social interactions among children, promoting real-world connections over digital ones. Vrushali Parab shared her personal journey of cultivating a reading habit in her daughter from as early as six months old, underlining the lasting impact of consistent storytelling and screen-free bonding. Anita Khemnani addressed the role of parental control in today’s tech-driven environment, stressing the need to monitor and restrict access to digital platforms in a way that safeguards children while fostering responsible usage.
While mothers engaged in the panel and networking activities, their children participated in the diverse role-play adventures across the KidZania park, making the day a joyful and enriching experience for the entire family. Speaking about the event, Mr. Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Chief Business Officer – KidZania India, said, “KidZania Mommy Zummit is our heartfelt tribute to mothers and their ever-evolving role in shaping future generations. This year’s theme acknowledged the new realities of digital parenting and celebrated the strength, adaptability, and emotional intelligence mothers bring to the table. We at KidZania are proud to offer a platform where mothers can engage, share, and grow—while creating special memories with their children.”
The 2025 edition of Mommy Zummit reaffirmed KidZania’s commitment to empowering parents and fostering family bonds through purposeful dialogue and immersive experiences.
