Kotak Education Foundation Launches Kotak Junior Scholarship 2026 with Bold Multi-Channel Campaign – ‘Future Ka Golden Ticket’

Mumbai, June 2026: Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), the primary implementing agency for  the education-focused CSR initiatives of the Kotak Mahindra Group, announced the launch of the  Kotak Junior Scholarship 2026, scaling its flagship scholarship programme for meritorious  students from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region with a high-visibility, high-reach integrated  marketing campaign. Building on the emotional momentum of last year’s ‘Future Ka Golden  Ticket’ campaign, this edition amplifies the message further – taking it to the streets, the screens,  and the everyday moments of the communities it seeks to serve.

Reaching Every Corner: A Campaign Built for Impact

The 2026 campaign is designed not just to inform, but to inspire and create aspiration. From the  city’s arterial roads to its digital touchpoints, Kotak Junior Scholarship 2026 makes a visible,  unmistakable promise to every deserving student: opportunity is within reach.

The multi-channel outreach spans:

  • Outdoor Campaign: Commanding visibility through high-impact communication through bus shelters, cab branding across key city corridors, ATM screens in high-footfall areas,  the bustling Mumbai Metro station at BKC, and in-branch Digital Signage Systems (DSS)  at Kotak Mahindra Bank branches, ensuring the scholarship message reaches deserving  students and their families, commuters and professionals alike, creating widespread  awareness.
  • Platform Marketing on Swiggy: In a first-of-its-kind engagement, KEF partnered with  Swiggy to reach delivery partners directly – a community that is both deeply embedded in  urban neighborhoods and acutely aware of the aspirations of families in underserved  localities. This hyperlocal, peer-to-community approach creates a trusted, ground-level  channel for scholarship awareness.
  • Cinema Promotions: Pre-film placements in cinemas bring the scholarship narrative to a  captive, emotionally receptive audience, associating the programme with inspiration and  possibility.
  • IPL Promotions: Riding India’s biggest sporting spectacle, the scholarship message  reached millions of passionate cricket fans through in-stadia and broadcast-adjacent  placements during the Indian Premier League season. With families and youth at the  heart of the IPL’s audience, this association elevated the campaign’s visibility to a  national scale while keeping its message deeply personal – that every child’s future  deserves a champion.
  • Performance Marketing: Precision-targeted digital campaigns ensure maximum reach  among eligible student communities and their families, driving scholarship applications  efficiently across platforms.

At the heart of the 2026 campaign, as with its predecessor, are real voices and real faces of students whose lives have been reshaped by the Kotak Junior Scholarship. Their stories anchor  every channel of the campaign with credibility and warmth, reinforcing that the scholarship is not  merely a financial instrument, but a transformative gateway to a brighter future. The campaign’s  brand film, featuring actual beneficiaries, continues to serve as its emotional centerpiece, a testament to KEF’s belief that the most powerful advocate for education is education’s own  success.

The Kotak Junior Scholarship 2026 continues to offer students far more than financial assistance.  KEF’s ‘beyond scholarship’ ecosystem encompassing mentoring, academic support, career guidance, and life-skills development, ensures that recipients are equipped not just for 11th and  12th Standard, but for life beyond. This holistic model distinguishes the programme as a sustained  investment in human potential, enabling scholars to thrive, academically and professionally.

Kotak Education Foundation

Kotak Education Foundation is the primary implementing agency for the education-focused CSR  initiatives of the Kotak Mahindra Group. Kotak Karma serves as the overarching Corporate Social  Responsibility (CSR) identity of the Group.

It has been a rewarding nineteen years since we embarked on our mission to equip economically  disadvantaged children and youth with education and foundational skills, galvanizing them  towards a better future. Our ‘Inch Wide Mile Deep’ approach, home-grown projects focused on  quality education for the low-income segment have been instrumental in shaping the success of  our projects across India. KEF’s approach is primarily three-pronged –

  1. a) holistic interventions with children and educators in school,
  2. b) equitable scholarships for higher studies, and
  3. c) vocational education and skills training for livelihood.

Strengthening school leadership and building teacher capacity, creating digital-first learning  environments, equipping middle school students with confidence in Communicative English Future Readiness, and enabling educators to deliver Foundational Literacy and Numeracy are  among the key interventions led by Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) across Maharashtra,  Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Gujarat. Our flagship KSHAMATA model runs in all these geographies,

and across PM Shri schools, scaling teacher capacity-building, amplifying academic outcomes. Our Model School Project, a multi-year program run in partnership with SCERT Maharashtra in  21 Zilla Parishad schools in remote locations, armed school leaders and teachers with  pedagogies and leadership skills to create exemplary learning environments. Inculcating  creativity, critical thinking and 21st-century skills, ZP school teachers are shaping young minds  into academically successful, confident and future-ready citizens. As part of a 3-year partnership

with the Tribal Research Training Institute, Government of Maharashtra, our TRTI STEM project  is equipping teachers with culturally relevant, experiential pedagogies to elevate STEM skills of  learners in rural tribal hamlets across 29 districts.

Expanding access to opportunity, Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) has built a robust  scholarship ecosystem designed to support students at critical stages of their educational journey.  The Kotak Kanya Scholarship, launched in 2021, empowers meritorious girl students from  economically disadvantaged backgrounds across India to pursue professional higher education,  offering sustained financial support along with academic guidance and holistic development  opportunities.

The Kotak Junior Scholarship supports high-potential students from the Mumbai Metropolitan  Region as they transition into Grades 11 and 12, ensuring continuity in education through financial  aid, mentorship, and academic support. At the higher education level, the Kotak Graduate  Scholarship enables deserving students to pursue undergraduate studies, equipping them with  the resources and guidance needed to successfully navigate college and career pathways.

KEF’s vocational education programme focuses on skilling unemployed youth from economically  weaker sections, equipping them with IT skills, spoken English, life skills, and personality  development. With a strong placement focus, the programme ensures that eligible participants  are prepared to enter and succeed in professional environments with confidence.

Today, KEF stands at a pivotal moment in its journey. Building on its deep on-ground experience,  the organisation is now expanding both the depth and breadth of its interventions. Its approach is  evolving from a ‘school-as-a-unit’ model to a larger vision of district and state-level education  transformation. Through this shift, KEF aims to drive systemic reform and enable long-term,  sustainable impact at scale.
