KragBuzz Sports, Represents India as a part of FICCI Sports Committee Delegation to France

New Delhi, 9th ,  July 2026: Arjun Gupta, Founder & CEO of KragBuzz Sports, was part of the FICCI Sports Committee delegation that recently went to Paris and Marseille, France, in coordination with Business France, to study the country’s Olympic legacy and explore opportunities for strengthening India’s sports ecosystem. In the delegation there were more than 12 leaders from India’s sports industry, who met with international sporting leaders. The agenda of the delegation was to discuss sports business, sports infrastructure, governance matters, and innovation.

During the visit, the delegation explored some of France’s iconic sporting venues, including the Marseille Velodrome Stadium, Nautical Stadium, Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille, Stade de France, and Paris City Hall. The interactions focused on understanding how France has successfully transformed Olympic and sports infrastructure into sustainable, year-round assets through community engagement, commercial utilisation, and world-class fan experiences. The delegation also participated in RIGES 2026, an international forum dedicated to major sporting events, where industry leaders discussed the future of global sports development.

Sharing his experience Arjun Gupta, Founder & CEO, KragBuzz Sports, said, “Being part of this delegation and representing my country was, honestly, an enriching and honorable experience. France has shown how sports infrastructure can generate long-term value, beyond just hosting global events. India is moving along its path towards becoming a leading sporting nation, given the government’s focus and schemes. There really is a lot we can take in and learn from, especially when it comes to building sustainable venues, spurring higher sports participation, and forming solid partnerships between the public and the private side. All of this could matter a great deal, in shaping the future of Indian sports”

The visit also provided an opportunity for the Indian delegation to interact with French sports institutions, businesses, and policymakers to exchange ideas on sports infrastructure, innovation, athlete development, and international collaboration. The delegation was hosted by the Consul General of India in Marseille and met several organizations actively involved in preparations for the 2030 Olympic Winter Games, offering valuable insights into planning and legacy management.

As an outcome of the visit, the FICCI Sports Committee will prepare a white paper titled “French Olympic Legacy: Key Learnings for India’s Journey Ahead,” which will be shared with government and industry stakeholders to support India’s long-term sporting ambitions. The committee also plans to welcome a French delegation to India during FICCI TURF 2026, aiming to help deepen the cooperation between the two countries, especially when it comes to field sport and sport business.
