Libas Urges Young India to Make Time for Moms Through #NotJustASunday Campaign

New Delhi, 11 May 2026: Libas, India’s leading ultra-fast fashion brand, has unveiled its latest Mother’s Day campaign, #NotJustASunday, spotlighting the emotional distance that often exists between young professionals and their mothers in today’s always-on work culture.

At the heart of the campaign is a candid digital film featuring real Libas employees responding to questions around work-life habits and communication with their mothers. Through relatable moments and honest reactions, the film captures how work often receives immediate attention while personal relationships unknowingly get delayed.

The campaign draws insights from an internal survey conducted at Libas, which revealed that while 82% of employees respond to work messages within 30 minutes, only 46% respond to their mothers with the same urgency. Additionally, while employees regularly express appreciation to colleagues, 41% admitted they rarely thank their mothers in their daily lives.

Commenting on the campaign, Nisha Khatri, Head of Marketing, Libas, said, “Consumers today resonate with campaigns that feel authentic and emotionally real. With #NotJustASunday, we wanted to move the conversation around Mother’s Day beyond fleeting online gestures and create a reminder around the importance of everyday connection. Sometimes, one quick call can mean the world to our mothers.”

Taking the campaign beyond digital storytelling, Libas partnered with Winston to host complimentary hairstyling sessions for walk-in mothers and daughters at its Lajpat Nagar store. The brand also introduced a specially curated in-store section titled “Mom Would Love This”, featuring thoughtfully selected styles for mothers.

Adding an emotional layer to the initiative, Libas unveiled the “Maa’s Unpaid Bill” concept, where purchases included a symbolic bill representing a mother’s countless acts of care – from midnight check-ins to silent emotional support, each valued at INR 0. The campaign further extended into the digital space with a social media giveaway inviting consumers to share stories of celebrating their mothers beyond special occasions.

At its core, #NotJustASunday is a reminder that while life may continue to get busier, relationships still thrive on the smallest acts of presence, attention and time.
