Hyderabad, 19th August 2026: Hyderabad witnessed a vibrant celebration of fitness, community spirit and inclusivity as Network18’s Mana Run Hyderabad – 2nd Edition, presented by News18 Telugu, was successfully held at Gachibowli Stadium on Sunday, August 16. The marathon saw 5,000+ participants from across the city, including runners, families, children, fitness enthusiasts and specially-abled participants, bringing together people from different age groups and backgrounds.
Network18’s Mana Run is aligned with the Government of India’s Fit India Movement and continues to support the vision of encouraging healthier and more active communities through its initiatives. It encouraged citizens to make fitness a part of their everyday lives while also carrying forward the message of a healthier and drug-free India. The event brought together participants with different levels of running experience, from seasoned runners and fitness enthusiasts to families and children taking their first steps into organised running events.
The Hyderabad edition featured multiple participation categories, including 1K and 2K Kids Runs, 2K Costumed Run, a 3K Walkathon, 5K and 10K Fun Runs, and competitive 5K and 10K Timed Runs. The varied categories encouraged participation across age groups and fitness levels, making the event a celebration of fitness enthusiasts, families, children and the wider community.
A key highlight of the Hyderabad edition was the participation of specially-abled members, adding an important dimension of inclusivity to the event. Their participation alongside thousands of other runners reflected the open and community-driven nature of Mana Run.
The event was graced by V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest, while T. Annapurna, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), Cyberabad, attended as the Guest of Honour. Their presence added significance to the event’s focus on fitness, community participation and building a healthier society.
Mana Run Hyderabad 2026 received strong support from partners across healthcare, nutrition, sports, banking, hydration, FMCG and infrastructure. The event was Powered By – Bone & Joint Health Partner Calcimax 500 and Powered By – Gold Winner and Co-Powered By – Reliance Industries. Milky Mist supported the event as the Protein Partner, Fast&Up as the Energy Partner, US Cranberries as the Nutrition Partner, and Dynapar QPS Plus as the Pain Relief Partner.
