This year, MarksNelson LLC from Kansas City, Mo. (net revenue of $28.8 million for FY20) has launched a proprietary data analytics solution known as MN Navigator for small and midsize businesses. Through this subscription-based data analytics solution, users can access internal and industry data in formats that enable them to spot trends early and seize opportunities.

The Kansas City, Missouri, accounting firm created the product after noticing a gap in the market, where performance analytics software available to larger organizations is expensive for smaller organizations. The solution consists of four levels – bronze, silver, gold, and platinum-based on the frequency and depth of data reporting provided. Smaller companies can develop an understanding of business intelligence at lower levels and grow with time.

With gold and platinum packages, MN Navigator integrates information from different sources, including company and industry comparison data, into a unique visual tool to identify patterns and trends. Business Intelligence Platform powered by BUCSanalytics at the platinum level is a cutting-edge business intelligence platform. Firms that do not have yet a need for the gold or platinum level can sample MN Navigator insights on a lower level.

Additionally, data reporting tools offer consultations to assist subscribers in understanding what the results mean and how they can lead to better business decisions. This product and MarksNelson consultants work together as a compass to guide companies in their quest for success.

MarksNelson onboarding process involves companies identifying a business problem they want to solve and submitting business data related to that problem. Reports are then generated by MarksNelson using MN Navigator.

Partner Brandi DiGiorgio of MarksNelson said, “We work with clients of varying sophistication, complexity, and size. The use of data should be more dynamically, but not all companies can take advantage of it. By illustrating data and providing clear insights into the path towards improved business management, MN Navigator enhances business performance. Firms can use the product to target areas where they have difficulty obtaining valuable information.”.

“Every business face questions before making strategic or tactical moves, regardless of industry. By using MN Navigator, companies can establish statistical patterns and insights necessary for important decisions, such as identifying what customers or products are most profitable, or identifying the most successful salespeople to replicate their success.”, he further added.
