Maruti Suzuki rolls-out ‘Smart Maintenance Plan’

Chennai: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) has introduced Smart Maintenance Plan* (SMP), a flexible, customer-centric pre-paid after-sales maintenance offering designed to provide worry-free vehicle ownership experience to existing customers.

All Maruti Suzuki customers including private and commercial car owners, are eligible to subscribe to SMP. They can buy their choice of plan either at the time of vehicle purchase or at a later stage when they visit any of the Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshops for availing periodic maintenance service.

Under SMP, customers can choose from a range of service configurations based on their specific needs. These include multiple plans such as Labour-only, Parts and Labour, Commercial Vehicle Minor Services, Customer Demanded Services, as well as Engine Oil and Coolants. To further enhance convenience and peace of mind, SMP also offers optional wear-and-tear coverage for select components such as the clutch and brake parts. By availing SMP, customers can save minimum 10% on the labour cost, with additional savings on the parts and consumables. The plan also offers protection against future inflation for the services covered under SMP**.

Different plans are available under SMP with multiple tenure and mileage options, such as 2 years/20,000 km, 5 years/50,000 km, and up to 10 years/100,000 km for private vehicles, and up to 10 years/160,000 km for commercial vehicles.

With pan-India applicability, customers can avail services at any Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshop, irrespective of the location from where SMP was purchased.
