Inspired by the colourful streets and markets of Mexico, the new Cantina delivers an immersive experience that celebrates the country’s rich culinary heritage while resonating with Borivali’s growing appetite for unique dining concepts. At the heart of Mezcalita’s offering is a menu that showcases the diversity of regional Mexican flavours. Bringing this culinary heritage to life is Chef Jonatan Torres Muñoz, a Mexican chef with over 25 years of experience who works alongside the Mezcalita team to deliver an authentic dining experience in India. Alongside its much-loved cantina favourites, the new outpost introduces a dedicated selection of Jain Sabores and an extensive vegetarian menu, ensuring there is something for every palate. Guests can indulge in signature dishes such as Chip & Dip Méxicana, Chilaquiles, Street Cart Corn, Habanero Muerte Picante, handcrafted tacos, burritos and tortas, as well as hearty mains like Fideo Seco, Flautas Ahogadas and 24-Hour BBQ Pork Ribs. The experience is rounded off with decadent desserts including Tres Leches and Cinnamon Churros.
Complementing the food is Mezcalita’s signature cocktail programme, a celebration of Mexico’s iconic agave spirits. Featuring tequila- and mezcal-based creations inspired by the spirit-making journey, the cocktail menu combines traditional influences with contemporary mixology. Signature serves include Cha-Chinga, Oaxaca to Osaka, La Pomela, and the brand’s popular Margarita Pitchers, designed for sharing and social occasions.
