Bengaluru, 5 June 2025: Furthering its commitment to health and sustainability, Molbio has partnered with the Goa CSR Authority to donate ten electric garbage collection vehicles to the Sankhlim Municipal Council, Goa. In an event held today and attended by Dr. Pramod P. Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, the vehicles were officially handed over to the Sankhalim Municipal Council. These vehicles will be used across the Sankhali constituency to support daily waste collection and promote a cleaner, greener environment. This initiative ties in with the Chief Minister’s push for sustainable, non-polluting technologies and is recognized under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
The electric vehicles will transport domestic waste from various collection points to the main sanitary landfill, helping reduce fuel consumption and operating costs of up to several lakhs per annum. This move reflects a practical and responsible step toward lowering the environmental impact of essential municipal services while enabling cost-effective methods of keeping the state municipality machinery running smoothly.
