DATE: January 2nd, 2026The Museum of Art & Photography (MAP), Bengaluru in collaboration with Hindustan Times, India’s leading English-language daily, unveiled Bouquet of Hope in a groundbreaking initiative to democratise art. In an unprecedented cultural moment, one million readers received a limited-edition collector’s art print on the cover of Hindustan Times on January 1st, 2026. This marked the largest ever print run of artworks in the world.
The Bouquet of Hope is a unique artwork that features 25 flowers, each one created by celebrated Indian artists like MF Husain, KG Subramanyan, Arpita Singh, Ram Kumar, Bhupen Kakhar, Manjit Bawa and Anjolie Ella Menon, among others. Each artwork that makes up this bouquet is a symbol of hope, renewal, and resilience as we step into 2026. Every copy of this historic print edition is individually numbered, making it an exclusive collectible and the largest art outreach effort ever undertaken in the world.
“Art should belong to everyone, not just galleries or collectors. With Bouquet of Hope, we are bringing art into the hands of a million people, making it part of their everyday lives.”, said Abhishek Poddar, Founder, MAP.
The Bouquet of Hope microsite offers a variety of ways for people to engage with this unique initiative. You can explore the full list of artworks, add a flower of your own, or send custom bouquets to anyone, continuing this symbol of fellowship. You can also watch a film by Naveed Mulki that sheds light on the story behind this unique artwork. This initiative reflects MAP’s mission to make art accessible and inclusive, while celebrating India’s rich artistic heritage. By partnering with Hindustan Times, MAP bridges the gap between art and mass media, creating a cultural milestone that invites readers to own a piece of history.
