Hyderabad, June 26, 2026: The Telangana Junior Basketball League (TJBL), currently underway at the Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium (KVRIS), Yousufguda, Hyderabad, witnessed another exciting evening of basketball on Day 6 (Wednesday), with Nalgonda Speed Strikers and Warangal Stallions recording convincing victories in their respective matches.
The league, the first-of-its-kind professional basketball tournament for young talent in Telangana, will continue until June 28, with matches being played daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
In the Under-15 Girls category, Nalgonda Speed Strikers produced a disciplined all-round performance to defeat Hyderabad Hurricanes 54-42. The team maintained control throughout the contest to register another important victory in the league.
In the Under-15 Boys category, Warangal Stallions displayed impressive teamwork and attacking flair to overcome Hyderabad Hurricanes by 74-54, strengthening their position in the competition.
As the league enters its decisive phase, every match is becoming increasingly competitive, with teams striving to secure valuable wins and young players continuing to impress with their skill, determination and sportsmanship. The Telangana Junior Basketball League is steadily emerging as a vibrant platform for nurturing the next generation of basketball stars in the state.
Semi-finals will be held on Friday and Saturday and Finals on Sunday
