Meet Namrata Purohit, India’s most sought-after fitness expert and the co-founder of The Pilates Studio. Known as The Pilates Queen, she has revolutionised wellness by integrating mind and body forms of exercise, making fitness accessible, engaging, and transformative. With over 15 years in the industry, The Pilates Studio has grown into India’s largest and fastest-growing Pilates chain, boasting 30+ thriving studios across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurugram, Hyderabad, and beyond.
At just 16, Namrata became the youngest globally certified Stott Pilates instructor, marking the beginning of her extraordinary journey. Her mantra, “KISSS – Keep It Safe, Simple, and Smart,” shapes her approach to fitness and also defines The Pilates Studio. The first studio in the world to offer Pilates and a simulated altitude training room under one roof, it comes fully equipped with the latest technology such as the V2 max Reformers, Cadillac, Stability Chair as well as the ladder barrel. Namrata’s expertise extends beyond Pilates to other cutting-edge fitness techniques, such as EMS training, Core Stix, and Flowin.
Her elite clientele includes Bollywood’s biggest names—Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Arjun Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter—alongside cricket stars and global personalities. With her signature style of dynamic workouts fused with music, she has cultivated a devoted community of fitness enthusiasts both in-studio and virtually.

Today, she is not just a fitness entrepreneur, but a widely-known fitness influencer on social media as well, with an audience of over 544K followers on Instagram alone. She has even collaborated with a range of lifestyle brands, including Adidas, L’Oréal Paris, Samsung, Bumble, Hermès Paris, Lakmé, Kérastase Paris, American Express, and more. In addition, Namrata is a published author, having launched her first title “The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Being Fit” back in 2021. She is also a passionate horse rider and an expert in squash, football, salsa, and bachata – all of which bring a unique dynamism to her training programs.
Looking ahead, Namrata is set to launch new studios, introduce her own private-label fitness product line, and continue expanding her global wellness community. Inspired by Muhammad Ali’s words, “Don’t count the days; make the days count,” she remains at the forefront of a fitness revolution, shaping the future of holistic well-being.
