Bengaluru, June 2026: Natanam Institute of Dance, a distinguished member of the International Dance Council (CID), UNESCO, is proud to present “Nruthya Sammilana,” a grand Bharatanatyam recital featuring the talented young dancers Kum. Maanasa Ranga and Kum. Divya Vijayalakshmi Dharmarajan, disciples of renowned Bharatanatyam exponent Vidushi Dr. Raksha Karthik.
Scheduled for June 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. onwards at Medai – The Stage, Museum Road, Bengaluru, the event promises an enriching journey through the timeless traditions of Indian classical dance. Through intricate footwork, expressive abhinaya, and graceful choreography, the young artistes will showcase their dedication, discipline, and artistic maturity nurtured under the guidance of their guru.
The programme will be graced by eminent dance personalities Vidwan Bharadwaj Dayanidhi, acclaimed actor, Bharatanatyam dancer, and PhD research scholar in dance, and Vidwan Gururaj Vashisth, Artistic Director of Sudhindra Nritya Kalaniketana, whose presence will inspire aspiring artistes and dance enthusiasts alike.
The recital will be supported by an accomplished ensemble featuring Vidushi Dr. Raksha Karthik (Nattuvangam), Vidwan Sri Balasubramanya Sharma (Vocal), Vidwan Gopal Venkataramana (Veena), Vidwan Bhavani Shankar (Mridangam), Vidwan Prasanna Kumar (Rhythm), and Vidwan Deepak Hebbar (Flute).
“Nruthya Sammilana” is more than a dance performance; it is a celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, the guru-shishya tradition, and the emergence of the next generation of classical dancers.
