NCRTC Invites Bids for Selection of Licensee for Exclusive Semi-Naming/Co-Branding Rights at 21 Stations on Delhi–Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor

NCRTC has invited bids for selection of co-branding partner for exclusive semi-naming/co-branding rights at 21 stations along the Delhi–Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for brands to associate with India’s first Namo Bharat and enhance their visibility across a high-footfall new-age public transit network.

Under this arrangement, selected partners will have the opportunity to prefix or suffix their brand names to station names, creating a long-term association with the station identity. Branding may be extended across station interiors, concourse and platform levels as well as key exterior elements, including entry/exit areas and piers on both sides of the station. This ensures high-visibility exposure to both commuters and road traffic, delivering consistent brand presence across multiple touchpoints.

In addition to these extensive branding opportunities, NCRTC will integrate co-branded station names into in-train audio announcements, further enhancing brand engagement with commuters. Brand logos will be prominently featured on station maps along with dedicated space for kiosk enabling experiential marketing and deeper brand interaction.

The stations proposed for exclusive semi-naming/ co-branding rights are Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Duhai, Muradnagar, Modi Nagar South, Modi Nagar North, Meerut South, Partapur, Rithani, Shatabdi Nagar, Brahmpuri, Meerut central, Bhaisali, Begumpul, MES Colony, Daurli, Meerut North and Modipuram. This includes both Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro stations.

Since the operations began on Namo Bharat corridor on 21st October 2023 in a phased manner, Namo Bharat has completed about 3 crore commuter trips. The stations are strategically located along the Delhi–Meerut corridor, in densely populated areas with proximity to key markets, educational institutions and residential hubs, offering significant visibility for brand integration. Semi-naming rights for Guldhar Namo Bharat station have already been awarded under this initiative.

Namo Bharat, as the country’s fastest commuter rail system, is designed to provide high-speed, reliable and comfortable regional connectivity. With a maximum operational speed of up to 160 kmph, it reduces travel time across the region to nearly one-third. On 22nd February 2026, the Hon’ble Prime Minister dedicated the entire Delhi- Ghaziabad- Meerut Namo Bharat corridor to the nation and inaugurated the Meerut Metro. In a first-of-a-kind initiative in the country, local metro services in Meerut are also being provided on the Namo Bharat infrastructure. This expands the reach of the system from the National Capital to the centre of the historic city, Meerut.

Multi-Modal Integration remains a key principle for NCRTC, with seamless connectivity to other modes of public transport such as metro systems, railway stations, bus terminals and airports. This integration enhances commuter footfall at stations, providing greater reach and engagement for partner brands. By associating their brand name with the stations, the Brands will instantly create a unique recall and higher brand awareness.

Tender documents for participation are available on the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPP) and NCRTC’s official website, www.ncrtc.in.
