Network18 Strengthens Future Talent Pipeline Through Its Two Campus Programs – Next Gen Young Leaders Program and Aarambh

New Delhi, 10th August 2026: Network18, India’s largest news network, has strengthened its commitment to building a future-ready workforce through its two early-career programs –  NextGen Young Leaders Program (NYLP) and Aarambh. Together, the two programs have welcomed 51 high-potential young professionals across Business, Editorial, Technology & Product functions, reflecting the organization’s focus on attracting diverse talent and developing the next generation of media leaders.

As part of its long-term talent strategy, Network18 is committed to investing in structured campus hiring programs that identify and nurture high-potential talent from academic institutions across India. The organization’s two initiatives—NextGen Young Leaders Program (NYLP) and Aarambh—aim to create a robust pipeline of future-ready professionals.

NYLP focuses on graduates from leading management institutes, while Aarambh broadens Network18’s outreach to graduate campuses nationwide, providing opportunities for talented young professionals from diverse geographies and academic backgrounds. Together, these programs enhance the organization’s talent ecosystem by attracting individuals with varied perspectives, experiences, and aspirations.

The journey begins with a comprehensive week-long onboarding and induction program that offers participants an immersive introduction to Network18’s business, culture, and operational practices. This experience includes leadership interactions, newsroom immersions, business deep dives, cross-functional learning sessions, and interactive Q&A opportunities, equipping trainees with a holistic understanding of the dynamic media landscape and fostering meaningful relationships across the organization from day one.

Following the induction, participants engage in a structured learning journey supported by mentorship, real business assignments, and cross-functional exposure. This hands-on development approach equips them with essential skills, practical experience, and business acumen, empowering them to make meaningful contributions while preparing for long-term careers within the Network18 ecosystem.

Commenting on the initiative, Sanchayan Paul, Chief Human Resource Officer, Network18, said: “At Network18, we believe our organisation’s future depends on our ability to identify, nurture, and empower young talent. Through NYLP and Aarambh, we invite diverse perspectives and ideas, building a future-ready leadership pipeline by connecting exceptional talent from campuses across India with meaningful exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to learn from industry leaders.

We are proud that 60% of these 51 young professionals are women.

These programs demonstrate our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace where young professionals can grow, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.”

As the media industry continues to evolve, Network18 remains committed to investing in early-career talent and creating opportunities for young professionals to thrive. Through NYLP and Aarambh, the organisation is strengthening its employer brand, fostering diverse perspectives and building a sustainable pipeline of future leaders equipped to shape the next chapter of the media industry.
