Aug 23, 2012: Dharampal Satyapal (DS) group announced an investment of Rs65 crore to establish their new milk-based powdered drink “Yomil” in India. The group which sells consumer goods under the brands Catch and Pass entered the powdered beverages segment with Piyoz brand earlier this June.
The new milk brand Yomil will be available in four flavors. The company plans a nation wide launch of the brand and will be made available through a network of eight lakh outlets across the country. DS group which have presence in other sectors like food and beverages, hospitality, mouth fresheners, tobacco, packaging and infrastructure is betting high on the Rs 500 crore powdered soft drink segment in India.
